Default Concept Class: Shaman

STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS...I don't put together professions in a matter of a few minutes, I do research and think about them.

The shaman is a supportive profession, becoming one with spirits to aid allies and hinder foes.

Divination: No inheritant effect. Some skills, especially those related to finding and predicting, become more effective with higher Divination.
[Primary] Nature attunement: Every time you create a spirit, you gain one energy for each level in Nature Attunement. Some skills, especially those
dealing with Spirits, become more effective with higher Nature Attunement.
Maintenence: No inheritant effect. Some skills, especially those related to removing hexes and conditions and healing allies, become more effectie with higher Maintenence.
now i need ONE MORE for the hindering foes part....

Default Don't make assumptions and stuff....

I don't even play WOW, the shaman idea came from Magic: The Gathering Trading Card Game first off... second off it's a work in progress, like it said earlier... third off, and I knew this was going to pop up, but Shamans and Ritualists are NOT the same thing...maybe once I am closer to a completed version of the Shaman you will see why. For one, things like Shelter and Pain don't really appear in nature.... try to find me someone who belives in the kami of BLOODSONG, really cmon now, Shaman is more realistic, based on teh animistic belief in spirits instead of gods. Some ppl actually believe in this sort of stuff..... where i dont think anyone believes in gods AND spirits that portray human emotions.... btw the only thing i actually got from any other game or anything is the name shaman and the concept... this other stuff is based off of what actual people believe.

Would suggest to look at Ritualist (or play as one) first befoe going on further, so you know what not to overlap.

If you can have some new mechanics or playing-role, than sure.

wheres the originality? we dont need a new summoning prof. no, no, no, no, no!!!!! Utterly stupid to make an idea that is almot exactly the same as a rit combined with a heal/prot monk.

Does it matter of shamans are more realistic?? Guild Wars may have choose yours if the Ritualist didn't exist. Thus, they want a totally new type of class. And lastly, I'd recommend you to explain why they are so different. You can always go on microsoft word type it, and then copy to the forum in case you don't have the time to do so.

Please, only post a thread here when you actually have a profession completely (or close to it) designed, and when you have a reasonable argument as to why it should be introduced into the game.
